This study aims to discuss the importance of training in people management for individual and organizational growth, highlighting the advancement of this concept over time and its incorporation with technology and egalitarian practices. It highlights the influence of investment in training to increase capabilities in a competitive market. In addition, it addresses the organizational knowledge phase, highlighting the importance of the analysis, design, implementation and consideration stages of training. The study aims to map and evaluate academic discussions on people management training to add information on the topic and detect meaning among researchers. Thus, the study updates the validity and importance of promoting ongoing training for employees, in order to make organizations more competitive and increase their productivity.
